Culinary encounters & local flavours at L’Olivo

Sunday Lunch is a new series of culinary events at L’Olivo, the restaurant at San Giovanni Terme Rapolano. One Sunday each month, the restaurant welcomes young chefs, winemakers and producers to create ever-changing experiences that bring flavours, stories and regions together around the table.

Each event is an opportunity to discover new voices in Italian cuisine, explore local ingredients and traditions, and rediscover the authentic pleasure of sharing a meal together.

Emanuele Roda

SUNDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER

Opening the season is Emanuele Roda, a young chef from Piacenza who combines Emilia’s culinary tradition with influences gained during his years of training in Australia and Japan.

Upon returning to Piacenza, he deepened his knowledge of local ingredients and techniques at Osteria Fratelli Pavesi. Today, at Vino del Poggio, he offers deceptively simple cuisine that reveals a fresh and complex elegance.
